Arts on the Waterfront Concert Series Features Dr. S.O. Feelgood at Bladensburg Waterfront Park June 17
While summer doesn’t officially start until June 20, it doesn’t mean Prince Georgians can’t have an early summer treat. And that treat comes in the form of sweet blues music.
As part of the Arts on the Waterfront summer concert series, Bladensburg Waterfront Park and the Maryland National Parks and Planning Commission are excited to host a live performance by Dr. S.O. Feelgood, the Sweet Soul Music Man on Sunday, June 17. It will be held at the park, 4601 Annapolis Road in Bladensburg, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Dr. S.O. Feelgood and his band are sure to compel the crowd with a blend of blues, soul, jazz, and R&B as it embraces the warm summer atmosphere. In addition to the soulful music, patrons can enjoy an outdoor movie on the jumbo screen, a chance to win prizes, shop from various vendors, arts and crafts, and delicious food.
