
The Clergy-Diplomat Covenant Prayer Breakfast held at the Greater Mt. Nebo A.M.E. Church in Bowie, Md. on Saturday, May 17, was successful in bringing together pastors from African-American and African Churches in the Washington metropolitan area, largely from Prince George's County, and ambassadors from African and Caribbean Island nations, to promote economic, trade, cultural and educational relations between members of the Pan-African community.
In attendance at the prayer breakfast were Ambassadors and representatives from South Africa, Ghana, Benin, Lesotho, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Haiti, the Bahamas, Antigua and Barbuda joined the Rev. Dr. Kerry Hill, New Chapel Baptist Church (Clinton), Rev. Dr. Harry Seawright, Union Bethel A.M.E. Church (Brandywine), Rev. P.J. Edmunds, Timbrel Church (Bowie), Rev. TL Rodgers, Triumphant Baptist Church (Hyattsville), Rev. Bernard Fuller, New Song Bible Church (Lanham), and Rev. Michael Turner, Faith Missionary Baptist Church (Capitol Heights) at the Greater Mt. Nebo A.M.E. Church in Bowie, Md.
