Parades, Explosions, Festivals Mark July 4 Celebrations in the Region

There’s no shortage of choices to celebrate the nation’s independence throughout the region. There’s food, carnivals, festivals, live music, and, of course, fireworks.

For instance, want a peek inside old school battles for America’s freedom? Check out the Revolutionary War re-enactors at the William Paca House and Garden in Annapolis. Or do you prefer to relax while viewing the starbursts? Book a seat on the Spirit of Baltimore at the Inner Harbor in Baltimore. The three-hour cruise includes a buffet dinner, cash bar and DJ.

And, if you can’t wait until July 4 to party, go to National Harbor. Things get started early on the third, with an outdoor fest and fireworks.
