Ready. Set. Get your passport to the Trolley Trail.

Residents and fun seekers can sip & savor, bike, run or walk along the 3.8-mile trolley trail during Trolley Trail Day on June 8.

The trolley trail connects the downtowns and commercial areas of the three Baltimore Avenue Corridor communities: Hyattsville, Riverdale Park, and College Park. The Prince George's Department of Parks and Recreation (M-NCPPC) coordinated the development of the Trolley Trail which has become a recreational and transportation asset.

At Trolley Trail Day, trail users are in for a vibrant scene that will delight their tastebuds and thrill their senses. Along the Route One Corridor, trail users can stop by several venues to sip & savor through handcrafted breweries, distilleries, meaderies, roasteries, bakeries, biergarten, and local bicycle shops.

Some of the 18 venues that are accessible on the Route One Corridor include Franklin's Brewery, Streetcar 82 Brewing Co, & Pizzeria Paradiso in Hyattsville, Texas Two-Fifty Barbecue, Denizen's Brewing Co, & Manifest Bread in Riverdale Park, and Bagels N' Grind, Potomac Pizza, & Tacos a La Madre in College Park.

People of all ages and backgrounds are welcomed to the full day of celebration with the communities along the Trolley Trail. Activities will occur throughout the day 9 AM - 8 PM along the entirety of the 3.8-mile stretch of the Trolley Trail. The event is free.

To begin their journey on the Trolley Trail, trail users can register on June 8 at discover.hycdc.org to download their free digital passport, which can be used to earn and redeem points for prizes while supplies last.

Trolley Trail Day is organized by nonprofit partners Anacostia Trails Heritage Area, Hyattsville CDC and College Park City-University partnership.
