The AOPA Chapter of Women in Aviation will be holding Girls in Aviation Day in conjunction with College Park Aviation Museum! Girls ages 8-17 are invited to discover aviation in its many forms. Participants will have the opportunity to explore weather, maintenance, technology, and engineering activities and how they relate to aviation careers.

Girls will

-Get up close and personal with a helicopter and an airplane

-Meet aviation professionals from a variety of fields

-Learn about aviation innovations developed here at College Park!

-Try flying on a simulator

-AND MORE!!!

NOTE: No Airplane rides will be given during this event.
