The World's First Heated Stadium Chair Makes Its Debut

hot seat lifestyle 1.jpg

Pop Design recently introduced The Hot Seat - the world’s first heated stadium chair.  Featuring USB-powered ThermaGridz™ heating technology that penetrates heat deep into the body to relax and warm muscles along with SoftTushion™ foam for the ultimate in seating comfort, The Hot Seat is perfect for people in need of warmth and comfort during long events, practices or games.  The Kickstarter campaign, which is being managed by the Launchpad Agency, launched August 29 with a funding goal of $20,000 USD.  The campaign features limited Super Early Bird Specials of $79.99, as well as several other rewards for backers to choose from.

The Hot Seat’s ThermaGridz™ technology, which uses low-voltage USB-powered heating, is a grid pattern of single core wire wrapped around glass fiber and coated in silicone that produces Far Infrared Ray (FIR) heat.  The chair, which is covered with 600D fabric to avoid any hot spots, features three temperature controls (High 115F, Medium 110F and Low 100F) mounted on a 12-inch cable for easy use. Because The Hot Seat works with any portable USB battery, users can easily keep warm for hours (from 1.2hrs with a 2500mAh battery to 7.25hrs with a 15,000mAh battery).

The Hot Seat, with its SoftTushion™ foam in the armrests and adjustable back, is perfect for long-term sitting and maximum comfort.  At 16” wide with a high back that measures 16” and a 16” deep bottom seat, The Hot Seat provides unbelievable thigh and back support at all times - especially during those long practices or games.  For users that would like a wider seat, the armrests can be dropped to allow for larger seating - up to 20.5” wide!  Additional features include welded steel for the chair’s frame, oversized zippers and a waterproof bottom (can be placed in the snow or in wet areas).

The Hot Seat also comes with four hidden pockets and a cup holder to keep game time items organized, secure and easily accessible. Key pockets include: a 15” X 4” pocket on the back of chair for larger items, a hidden zipper pocket that unfolds from each armrest to hold items such as phones, keys, or anything else that needs a temporary spot, and a hidden zipper pocket on the front of the left armrest that acts as a cup holder (elastic ring top expands to hold larger drinks, solid material bottom ensures drinks stay upright, and webbed sides make it easy to remove the drink).

When ready to pack up The Hot Seat, it folds flat and includes adjustable backpack straps so users can easily transport it, freeing up their hands for other things.

“We’re taking the portable stadium chair to the next level,” said Kannyn MacRae, founder, Pop Design.  “With The Hot Seat, not only do users experience the ultimate in comfort and support, they also stay warm, making it the perfect seating solution for surviving that long game, practice or event - both indoors and out.”
